We had a wonderful stay in Sigirya Rock Hide, the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Clean room and bathroom and hot water in the shower. The room has all the necessary to have a good stay. The whole strutture also Is very well organized and beautiful. There Is restaurant where Is possible to have breakfast lunch and dinner having a beautiful view in Lion's Rock. There Is also a clean pool where to rest in the hot days in Sigirya. The position Is good, close to some nice restaurants and far from noise. The staff Is available to organize Tuk tuk transport and amazing Safari in Kaudulla or Minnerya parks depending on the Elephant's movements. We really recommend your stay here!

Everything good

The hotel was in a great location a little off the main road so it felt peaceful. The people there were super friendly and accommodating. The top floor was where the meals were which had an amazing view of the famous Lion Rock, and the food was great too. Sitting up high with a nice breeze felt great! They also helped us find a taxi at a great price to our next location on the east coast. they also booked a safari tour for us that picked us up from the hotel which was really nice. They also went the extra mile to add another bed in our room for our 2 kids which was amazing.

We had a very pleasant stay in this quiet property with a magnificant view on the Lion Rock! Clean and comfortable rooms with a common terrase. We had a swim in the pool couple of times a day. We could choose between continental and traditional breakfast, both very delicious. Food cooked by the owner was the best we had during our stay in Sri Lanka, always fresh and very tasty.. Host family absolutely helpful. Only a couple of minutes from the Rock!

Lovely family hotel with an amazing swimming pool which can compete with most 4 or 5 star hotels. Fernando and his family and staff made us feel very welcomed and well looked after. Our room was nice and simple and very clean. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. View of the Sigiriya rock from the dining/breakfast area on the top floor. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we decided to come to the area again. Very good value for money.

Clean, welcoming, comfy bed, big room, lovely pool and gardens. Staff were amazing. Excellent location, view of Sigiriya. Not far to walk or TukTuk to restaurants and shops.

Same breakfast everyday, no menu so hard to ask for something different. Only offered eggs, fruit and toast everyday. No kettle or drinks facilities, but they did make when asked, again no menu so hard to know what's available.

A great little hotel tucked away from the main road in Sigiriya.. out in nature but still near the small town so you can walk to dinner and to the rock. The pool was lovely and the room spacious and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful, helping us with transport etc. Can recommend!

There was a lack of furniture to unpack clothes into which was a shame as we stayed a few days.. But nothing major!

The staff was amazing. Very helpful, and flexible when we needed something. When we asked for something they took Care print straight away, which was highly appreciated. We brought our baby and they had a baby chair and cot, which was really nice.

Something small frogs found their way into our bathroom. I guess its part of being in the djungle, but for a city girl like myself, I could have managed without.

As is true everywhere I’ve visited in Sri Lanka, the staff were very friendly and courteous. The location is very quite, but a short walk from several road side restaurants. The view of Lion Rock is very good from the bar/restaurant floor. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean.

I didn’t dislike anything, but the WiFi was very intermittent, but I am mindful that the location is in the middle of a jungle.

The swimming pool is so nice when you come back from a trip/hike/...Also good when traveling with kids. The location is good: walking distance from the main road, restaurants in the neighbourhood. Friendly host.

The noise. We slept on the ground floor and got a lot of noise from the floor above.

The staff here were amazing - especially Shane and ‘Lucky’. They helped us arrange a Tuktuk to and from Sigiriya Rock and also a safari jeep to Minneriya (both well worth a visit). They even organised getting us to Trinco at short notice. The food was delicious here and just a short walk away there are also some very good local restaurants. It was lovely to have a pool - which is very clean and well looked after ;)
