Incredible location for getting around the city, very clean, up-to-date, and well-furnished room and bathroom. The staff was helpful and attentive.

I would have liked a second bedside table, but it was easy enough to make do with what was provided, and I didn't ask - I'm sure the staff would have provided it. Also, no fault of Ali Inn, the nightlife Friday night was a little loud below the window, but it wound down by 10:00 pm.

The location was ideal as we were a 2 minute walk from the bus stop and 5 minutes from the train station. We were right in the middle of Oxford in a very central location, with a whole range of places to eat and drink a quick stroll from the hotel. The staff were really friendly also.

Considering the cost I was expecting something less basic. Also, as the old sash windows are single glazed, you can hear a lot of the noise from the street, including a pub across the road, in addition to the back doors of the theatre where equipment was being moved very late and very early. It’s important to note that this is out of the hotel’s control.

Fabulous location. Very central to everything in Oxford. It was a bonus to be next to the outdoor market and a number of good restaurants and pubs. The manager was very helpful and friendly.

Steep and narrow winding stairs to traverse with your luggage. A bit noisy in the morning when delivery trucks arrived to unload supplies for the pub opposite.

Excellent location right in the city centre. Comfortable. Easy access to rail station. So many restaurants around. Not very noisy. Good, powerful shower. Nice tea and coffee. One of the cheaper options to stay in the city centre.

No foot mat in bathroom. No wardrobe, just 2 rods in a corner with a couple of hangers. No breakfast options although there are excellent breakfast bars around. Kettle was coated with limescale, cups were discoloured

The single staff we met at the property was very cheerful, respectful, and helpful. The location is absolutely nice and accessible. the available spervices including the WIFI were very good.

There were no flipflops in the bathroom, no hotel lobby, no parkings, and the Walls were so thin that the noise from neighboring rooms was too loud and inconvenient.

Location was perfect for spoon and the theatre, the bed was probably one of the best hotel beds I’ve stayed in for a long while it was firmer than most. The room was clean but not of the highest standard in my opinion but for a night it was ok.

We had a leak through the ceiling on the bathroom light coming from Upstairs. We didn’t report it as we first thought it was just the shower dripping and when we noticed it it was hardly anything at all but left a note for them to look at

Great location. Welcoming, helpful staff. Room with a view (double room facing the Red Lion). 1 block from The Airline bus terminal (a great transit choice from Heathrow), walkable distance to railway station. Easy walk to all the top sites. Good food nearby. Quiet fan kept room cool during heat wave. Super ensuite bathroom. Very safe location. Great communication.

The Inn is in the most central position possible. One minute to a great pub/restaurant and five to the central bus station. The staff do their best to please

Because it is so central the outlook is not the best but it didn’t worry us

Within walking distance from train station. Easy check in. 5 minutes walking distance of the theatre. Opposite a lovely pub. Location is perfect if you want to be near the city night life.

If you want a quiet night, this might not be the place for you, it is right in the centre of the action. This did not bother me. One reception staff member was there for check in then I didn't see anyone again, even when we left in the morning. It was ok, just felt a bit odd to leave the key on an empty desk and disappear!

The location to train station,theatre and city centre was exceptional.the room was small but ideal for a solo traveller.the bed was really comfortable with a lovely shower.the staff were very pleasant and welcoming

The room was on the 1st floor so would have been an issue for mobility impaired people.
