We arrived late which was no problem. They also stored our bags for us :-)

The size is actually so small that it is kind of hard to get dressed. And it defo had a London price tag...

The property was well kept, accessible, easy to navigate as well as easy to navigate to. Cleaners could be seen on a daily basis which added to the clean impression of the hotel. I also like the logo design and hotel interior. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the mattress is very firm. I prefer this, but I can imagine it can be a major letdown for some. It was very nice to have been provided not only tea and coffee in the room, but also a bottle of water. That was a pleasant surprise.

The only (minor) downside is that on each floor, there are a couple of steps remaining that lead to the corridors where the rooms are actually located. This can be slightly inconvenient when bringing heavy luggage, but I do believe the hotel has ramp-accessible rooms available as well. While the room was overall incredibly clean, I did find individual hairs in the bed and one in the bathroom.

The location was great. However, it is the service that was the best . We stayed there for three nights. On the second day the AC broke down and the place being quite hot, we needed it. When contacted the staff, she arrived immediately and found out that it needs repair. She readily offered us another room which we declined. The staff offered us a complementary breakfast. On the third day it was yet not resolved so they offered us a complimentary breakfast again. This is very good service and we appreciate it. The bed was comfy and the room was not at all noisy which we feared. The bathroom was clean and nice with MASSIVE towels. :)

Given the nature of the problem we had with the AC machine that could not be resolved, and how expensive the place was, I would have prefered if the hotel refunded us even a smaller percentage of the fee we had paid for the room. The complimentary breakfasts were a great gesture and we really appreciate it. However some refund would be nice. Would it be at all possible?

Great location hotel on Fleet Street, handy for the tube, and plenty of places to eat within just a few minutes. Staff welcome was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room very clean and well appointed despite its small size, perfect for my one night stay. I was given a free room upgrade from a room with a double bed and no window, to one with a queen sized bed and a window, which was a lovely touch.

The room was very small, but for the price in central London I can’t say that bothered me too much but the heating in the room didn’t work, and it was quite chilly. I could have complained and I’m confident I would have been moved or the problem resolved, but again it didn’t bother me that much, and I had a very comfortable sleep anyway.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, large bed. I was upgraded from a queen room without window to one with windows. I really liked the generous selection of drinks: 2 each of branded teabags, decaff tea, chamomile tea, coffee bags, instant decaffeinated coffee, hot chocolate, plus UHT milk and a bottle of water (probably tap water that was refillable). Good amount of liquid hand/body/hair wash and a soap bar. Large TV with many channels. Compact room as expected but the high ceilings and windows made it feel airy/larger. Plenty of hot water. Air con. Water and apples in the Reception. I had missed the detail about showing the payment card at check-in and I didn't have the physical card with me, but luckily they accepted showing the card in the app instead.

Even after switching off the air con unit there was a constant circulation fan sound (not sure if it was outside or inside) - I'm a light sleeper so had to use ear plugs. Otherwise I couldn't hear noise from other rooms or the corridors. Some of the furniture showed some signs of wear.

Very good service from the hotel staff. The room had all the essentials and was very clean. Very good location, with many options of pubs/restaurants around in the area to drink and/or eat, also near to some interest sites. If you don't want to walk, there are several metro stations and bus stops nearby.

My stay was for a business trip, so the room had all the necessities and for me it was sufficient, however the space for hanging clothes was limited and my stay was for a few days, so I had my clothes in my suitcase, otherwise everything was fine.

Loved the location! Just a short walk away from Covent Garden and the theatres, a beautiful area. The room was well presented and comfortable and I really enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate and chamomile tea in addition to the usual tea and coffee! The TV has all of the Sky Channels too so it was great being able to relax watching films in the evenings. Staff were welcoming and friendly and overall I really enjoyed my stay. Room service neatened up the room beautifully every day and refreshed the tea/coffee and bottled water. It was my first time coming to London as a solo traveller and I felt really safe in the area and hotel. I will definitely try to come back again.

The single room is very compact, which was fine for 3 nights with a small suitcase and backpack but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays or with large suitcases!

Small rooms, basics meant for short stays only. I stayed 1 night before flying back to US. Being in a central location at 23 Fleet Street, it is a bit hard to find but Uber found it. Walkability to Temple Church is less than 100 yards. Clean location on a busy street with access to Underground and Bus lines. A 15th century Inn/restaurant right next door, modern cafe on Z premises open 24hr.

Beds were platform, so a bit firm for my taste. Elevator signage a little confusing. Whatever room you book, hit the GREEN button to get out of the hotel.

Upon arrival we were given a room where the air con was not working. Immediately the manager checked it and relocated us to a better room. He also offered us complimentary breakfasts to compensate having to repack and move. This manager was outstanding he went above and beyond right to us leaving the property. We checked out and stored our bags until early evening, so when I mean us leaving it was after we collected our bags. This manager is such an asset to the Z Hotel, I say this after travelling through the UK and Scotland for the last five weeks. Ps. He also makes amazing coffee!
