The location overlooking the rice terrace was the main reason we chose this place- just 10 mins drive from Sapa town. We spent quite some time at the hotel after our trek and enjoyed the different seating's outdoors from which we could enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff, Ming was kind enough to suggest some trekking route for us too.

There was a little musty smell in the room. We were told that there was an additional 3% tax charges in additional to the price displayed on booking.com- it would be better and less confusing if they were added to the room charges in the first place. All other hotels we stayed in didn’t have that either.

This place is beautifully designed and decorated, with a wonderful view of the rice fields and mountains. The manager was incredibly kind and accommodating above and beyond the call of duty! I loved the location, a bit out of the manic energy of Sapa. Beds were comfortable, and the food was great!

Being used to a warmer climate, we found the room a bit cold (although the heated mattress was great!). The common room (where meals are served) was unheated, and we were wishing there could have been a fire in the fireplace to huddle around. Also the lighting was a bit dim in the room for reading at night.

Peaceful stay above the terraced rice hills…if this isn’t your thing I’d certainly encourage you to give it a go! Wish we had more time to call our cute little bungalow home for a few more days. No TV but excellent 5G coverage in the bungalow and reception/restaurant. Rosie’s is an Eco Lodge, not a five star hotel. The eggs you’re having for breakfast each morning as well as the Pho Ga (Chicken Rice Noodle Soup) have been grown just up the road! Breakfast was included and as abundant as you liked!! The Bungalow itself had an excellent firm king size bed with Hmong decorative pieces throughout. Basics such as a kettle & tea/coffee making facilities and storage all perfectly fine for us. Modern and clean bathroom with rain shower rosette was also lovely. No fridge per se but we were able to use the restaurant fridge to store perishables. Ice was provided for drinks on the sweet little balcony too. Scott our host and his whole team gave excellent service and couldn’t do enough for us, including lugging my big bag down steps due to an injury. I crave serenity in nature and Rosie’s has it at every turn. $7AUD taxi ride from the bright lights of Sapa then back to serenity! Booking again for next year..2weeks that time!

The bungalow was really unique with a spectacular view of the mountains and rice fields. You can also spot some animals on the rice fields and I could enjoy the sunrise every morning from my terrace. The sunrise looks incredible in between all the mountains :) I was traveling alone, because I attended my cousins wedding and used the rest of my stay in Vietnam to visit Sa Pa. I wish I could have shared this with my partner but I will definitely come back here with her! The entire staff was really kind, especially Tony! He also speaks english very fluent and he can rent a motorcycle for you, which costs 100k/day when I was here. It is recommended to rent one to go to city center as a one way trip with a taxi is already around 100k. The free breakfast was also very delicious and the bed and room very cozy.

I liked everything to be honest!

Rosie House was an incredible stay. We stayed in the family bungalow and the view is stunning, and the rooms were very nice. The property is beautiful and well managed, Tony and his team are absolutely amazing. They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs, which made our stay with a 5 year old stress free. The food is top tier, and Tony happily organised us a trekk and transportation to our next destination. This place really set the bar high for the rest of our trip, I was genuinely sad to leave. I can't wait to come back in the future!

The stay was great. The hotel manager was very helpful and nice. There were 3 dogs and a cat which were friendly. The view was amazing, especially from our bungalow (Banana house). there was an AC which we used to warm up the room. We had rather bad weather with a lot of fog but the misty atmosphere was also really nice. The food was delicious and didn't take long to prepare. We had dinner at Rosie House three times. Definitely recommend staying there.

Only the hotel manager spoke English but the rest of the staff was nice and tried their best to understand us.

Everything was exceptional! The bangalows were great with the most amazing view of the rice fields, the room was really beautiful decorated, very spacious and with all the amenities. The breakfast was one of the most tastiest we had in our entire trip in vietnam (omelette and coffee were both perfect!). Huy and Ming were just great, and helpful with everything. Extra tip: we highly recommend the trekking tour they provide. Although we though it was kind of pricey at the beginning, it was one of the best experiences in our lives and indeed a very fair price(our private local guide Mimi was the best!!)

Comfortable stay with a million dollar view. Amazingly dedicated, hardworking and friendly staff. Huy and Tony went above and beyond from even before we arrived. Great communication through WhatsApp and during our stay too. It is a bit far from town but that’s exactly what we wanted. We have the quiet and peace to really enjoy the real Sapa. Trekking trails very close by and the hotel offers trekking tours too. Motorbike hire available so we were able to go into town whenever we wanted. They also have two of the cutest puppies and tiny cat who keep us entertained when we have breakfast on the terrace in the morning.

Showers were weak and didn’t work one night, which took quite a while before it was back.

Very nice little hotel just outside SAPA. Large, comfortable, clean bungalows and stylishly designed. We are a group of friends and some of us stayed in deluxe and some in superior bungalows. Both types had the same amenities and a wonderful view of the opposite mountains (and Fansypan) and the rice fields. Wonderful awakening from birds, cicadas and sounds of nature. Very good and quiet air conditioning. Large comfortable outdoor spaces with great views from everywhere. Had to work one day, the wi-fi was strong and fast. We had lunch or dinner there, the food was good (we didn't find better in Sapa) and reasonably priced. Adequate, good breakfast with three choices. Polite helpful and available staff. We were transported to and from Sapa by taxi (100,000 baht each way) The manager helped us book an excursion and book tickets for the night bus to Noi Bai airport (he charged us 450,000 baht for a ticket that cost 400,000 but it didn't bother us, it was a convenience). However he did not inform us that all the beds were upstairs and the ones downstairs were almost double the price. We needed a bed in the lower section of the bus and luckily we found one last minute by paying the difference, Overall it was a very good hotel for those who like quiet, nature and/or hiking.

- accommodation is close to hiking trails - food was delicious - staff was friendly and helpful -quiet and tranquil area with close-up view of the rice terrace and mountains at the background - nice outdoor garden to enjoy the view - there's ac and shower heater (takes about 15 mins to heat up) - friendly dogs and a cat

- not the most accessible place so getting a taxi/Grab can take a long time and expensive, especially if you plan on going in and out of sapa town. Walking to town will take around 20 mins - bathroom lights weren't functioning; only one light bulb was working. Bathroom window wouldn't close properly either so ventilation was poor - bathroom door wouldn't close properly - additional charges of 4% for credit card payments
