Location - fantastic central area close to Oxford University facilities and colleges, restaurants, Gloucester Green bus station, Westgate shopping centre, everything within a short walk. Yet in a tranquil square with trees and little traffic. Quiet, comfortable, warm, well equipped, shared kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink, crockery and cutlery, suitable for reheating ready meals. Partial lift access to the top floor. On street parking outside with ticket machine (about £7 for 3 hours)
Wifi: ‘The Cloud’ serving Oxford University. Unbelievably clunky - often put me offline, so kept having to log back in. Without telling you, they send an email on registration which must be clicked to validate, otherwise login stops working. Then I couldn’t generate a password reset email. So I ended up making 3 separate accounts with my 3 email addresses, each time forced to give the provider, Sky: my name, home address, email address, phone number, date of birth, and even my gender. When using this unsecured network it was slow, impeding tasks on my laptop both in Rewley House and in my conference venue which was also part of Oxford University. Using my phone's 4G as a hotspot was better. I’m glad I’m not a student here.

Staying in an attic bedroom, looking down on a quiet green square, is like a dream. 15 minutes away from Oxford train station, generous space for two of us, with a comfortable bed and enough supply of tea bags. We woke up to the first sign of sun light (the room faced East), looked out of the window down to the peaceful square, and had a nice cup of tea to think of what to do each morning (stayed here three nights). Unfortunately breakfast was not included in our plan, so we ended up visiting Gail's a block away. Going up to the attic room might be a bit too much for elderly couple.

it was great.
I had made a payment including breakfast when making the room reservation, but I informed them that I would not be able to attend since my meetings were at 7:30 in the morning. They informed me that it could only be at 08:00 due to the rules and no change was made. I think the morning is earlier than you think. I would suggest that this situation be evaluated.

Room was clean. Bed was a standard double, quite comfortable. Kettle in the room. Ensuite was large. Location is perfect for visiting Oxford. Plenty of cafés and bars/pubs nearby. The accommodation, however, is on a square of primarily office buildings, so it's very quiet and peaceful at night. Though we didn't need it, there is parking available in front of the property (metered).
The ceilings are all sloping because the accommodation is on the top floor. There is a lift to reach the top floor, but theres a 1/2 flight of stairs to reach the lift both on the bottom and top floor. This wasn't an issue for us, but someone with mobility problems would struggle and should therefore request an accessible room.

I like everything about this place, it is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in the UK. The room is big, compare to normal single room hotel in London, and very clean. The location is just next to the city centre with a little walk, and very quiet. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The building I stayed was not at the Rewley House building and there is no lift in the building, however the staff helped me carried my luggage up and down the stairs, so there was no problem. Also, there is a laundry room in the Rewley House building, just only £4 for washing machine and dryer altogether, which is very nice.
The only thing that I don't like is that the housekeeping comes quite early in the morning, it might be nice if she comes 1-2 hours late than normal time.

The staffs are very friendly and supportive. My room experienced a power cut and they allocated us to another room immediately at that night. Though the alternative room is for the disabled, it was clean and spacious. For the actual room that we booked, it was clean and had a poetic feeling. Not too small but not too spacious. There is a bathtub in the bathroom.
Maybe the way to our room has to be through many doors. The property is the student accommodation as stated but not too bad. They don’t have a fridge in each room, and the laundry facilities are not convenient to use. However, the staffs are very supportive! Also, it might take you about 15 mins walk to the station but we have an option to call a taxi at a rate around £5 (Sep 2024).

Quietness, sense of calm ( until police descended on the Gaza demo - not your fault ). Breakfast was good and staff helpful - made a gentle start to the day. The closeness of the eating establishments was very well received
As an arthritis and back pain sufferer I found the bed too soft, meaning I couldn't change my position easily. Not sure what could be done about this however. An awful lot of stairs in Oxford but that is the nature of the place but a warning of this might be included in your information. Also, could you make clear that all bedrooms ( bar one, I believe ) are en suite - it is implied but having looked at a Tripadvisor review I became unsure.

Convenient location, clean and provided the basics. Nice view from the windows. Staff were pleasant. Feel like a student again! The small park in the middle area of the buildings was lovely.
We should have requested low floor room/s. One of the rooms were were given was on the top floor and up several flights of narrowish stairs, no lift. We had heavy luggage and medical issues. Luckily the other room was in another building, with a lift, except for a set of stairs to the last level. We took that one and the younger family members took the other. So keep that in mind if you can't make it up stairs. The beds were basic, so not so great for my back issues - quite firm. But this is student accommodation!

Great location, central but very quiet. Lovely bed linen and towels. Access to the pretty courtyard garden (I stayed at 12 Wellington Sq.) and more green space in the centre of Wellington Sq. was another bonus. Friendly and helpful staff.
It was great to have a safe, but it was on the wardrobe floor and instructions were in tiny print. I managed by taking a photo of the instructions on my phone and enlarging it, but anyone with mobility problems might struggle to get down onto the floor to do that. A blown-up copy on the wardrobe wall would have been helpful.

I was first checked in a ground floor room in building nr 9, which was tight and there is no shared kitchen in the building. After asked of the receptionist the next morning, I was immediately offered another room on the 3rd floor of building 37. The room was much spacious and comfortable, and the building has a shared pantry. Good quiet street outside the facility is another plus.
The information on booking.com says that there is a shared kitchen, which is a small pantry with a fridge, a microwave, utensils and tablewares. It was enough for the week, but I would have loved to cook some simple meals if there were a real kitchen.
